Use an AI investment research assistant to organize notes

An AI investment research assistant keeps the notes, records, and follow-ups for your research in one place, where AI can organize and update them. It is for people who need to reopen the same information. It does not give buy or sell advice, and it does not promise returns.

Separate notes from decisions

Use the workspace to store what you are studying, the sources, your notes, and the questions you still need to check. You make buy, sell, or position decisions outside it. When you ask AI to modify the workspace, ask it to organize facts and sources, not to decide for you.

Start blank or from a template

Create a workspace named for the scope of the research. If no public template fits, start blank and describe what to track, which fields to keep, and how you want to view them. If the catalog has published an investment-research template, load it and then narrow it to your scope. Do not copy a template name into your notes until the template page states it.

Open public pages in the built-in browser, then write back what should stay. Files and data can be checked in dev mode.

Use a task to keep tracking, not to guarantee an outcome

When the same information needs to be refreshed, create a scheduled task, choose an agent session, and write a prompt that says what to check and which part of the workspace to update. Use run now once, then read the render view to see whether the new information landed in the existing structure.

If the task fails or a page will not open, read the run history and the logs, then change the prompt or the page you open. One successful run is not a promise about later results.

FAQ

Will it recommend stocks or funds?

This guide does not recommend any. The use described here is to store and organize your own research material, not to make the investment decision.

Can I track many subjects at once?

Yes, in one workspace, or split by theme across workspaces and search the workspace list. Split them when the render view stops being readable.

Where does the data come from?

From material you put in the workspace and from pages you open in the built-in browser. If a published template names its data source, treat that template page as the source of record.

Can it write the investment memo?

It can turn your organized notes into a first draft of a memo. You still check every claim against the sources, and you keep the judgment calls.

Next step

Create an investment research workspace, add a set of notes you already use, confirm the render view matches that structure, and only then decide whether to add a scheduled task.
